Munich is a modern town in Germany with an excellent blend of history, culture and traditional beer gardens. Munich Attractions include The Nymphenburg Palace, the world’s most famous beer hall called Hofbrauhaus and the Allianz Arena. The Nymphenburg Palace was the summer residence of the Bavarian monarchs. There are excellent museums which every visitor should visit before completing the palace tour.
German film making is rooted deeply in the Bavaria film studios. It would be worthwhile to take the “Film express” and spend time in Germany’s Film City. The English Garden is a 900 acre park which has ponds, brooks and shaded path. The garden is more famous for its four beer gardens and Nude Park where sunbathers spend their time. Other Munich Tourist Attractions would be the various museums in the city. The Deutsches Museum has an extensive collection of technical achievements spanning from the middle ages till the 20th century. It is a scientific-technology museum spread over 50, 000 square meters.
Many tourists who visit Munich love to go for river rafting on the Isar. The trip is on traditional wooden river rafts which depart from Wolfratshausen at a distance of 30 kms south of Munich. The Olympic Park at Munich where the main events of the 1972 Olympics were held is another Munich Attraction.
