By: Robert Thomson, Posted on: 2008-08-17

One of the reasons that the Feng Shui bedroom is becoming so popular, is that today, day to day life is very stressful, and the better you rest at night, the better your health and energy level will be.
A Feng Shui bedroom promotes the natural flow of good energy so that it is easier for you to harmonize with your environment. This is very important in the room where you sleep, and spend a big part of your time.

If you use Feng Shui in your bedroom, you will find that the room is more inviting, and that you are better able to relax while you are in the room, which is precisely the way it should be. The ability to rest easy while you sleep is so important to your waking hours that you can’t due without this style.
The following list of tips will help you to create a Feng Shui bedroom that will allow the energy within the room to flow easily, and allow you to rest and feel good.

There are some items you should never have in the Feng Shui bedroom, and they include, computers, televisions, or any type of exercise equipment. Your bedroom should be a place of rest, and if you have items that disrupt the rest energy, you disrupt the good energy flow for that room.
Fresh air is important to maintaining a good energy flow. For this reason you should open your windows as much as possible during the warm months, and during the winter season, use a high quality air purifying in the room.
This type of bedroom requires dim lighting. For the most optimized lighting, candlelight works best, but if this is not practical; simply install light fixtures that have a dimmer switch so that you can dim the lighting to your comfort.
The color is also very important. The best colors to promote the energy that is helpful for sleep, as well as sexual energy, is that of whites, tans, and browns. If you do not already have your room decorated with these colors, you may want to consider a little remodeling of the décor.

The bed should be in a position to where you can approach it from both sides, and do not have the bed placed to where it is inline with the door. This will greatly interrupt the natural flow of restful energy.
These are just some of the ways in which you can create a bedroom that will let you rest easy at night, but there are many things that can influence the proper flow of energy in a bedroom. Do some research, and discover how you can create the perfect Feng Shui bedroom.
